Bring Your Expertise Into What Comes Next

You're Already Positioned to Solve the Problem in Front of You. Imagine What Happens When It's Funded.

You have deep expertise and see problems worth solving. Turning that knowledge into a business creates possibilities for you, for the people facing those problems, and for investors looking for their next opportunity, one that might not be found in current accelerators or startup ecosystems.

Tools like Lovable have opened up your world to solve real problems with tech. FounderReady helps you build the case for funding, connecting what you know with what investors need to understand.

Prevention to Promotion

Answer the Risk. Explain the Opportunity.

Investors asked women founders prevention questions 66% of the time and asked men promotion questions 67% of the time. Every additional prevention question was tied to $3.8 million less in funding, and founders asked mostly prevention questions raised about five times less.

When your answers stay focused on risk, there's less space to explain the opportunity. Answer the concern with evidence, then bring the conversation back to growth, potential, and what makes your idea worth backing.

The Four-Step Move, in Practice

Direct

Large players can copy a feature. They cannot copy two years of proprietary practice data from real leadership conversations.

Bridge

Which is exactly why the data layer is the asset, not the interface.

Remind

Every session feeds a scoring model that gets sharper with each user.

Promote

So the better question is how fast that advantage compounds. At our current pace, every 1,000 users adds roughly 40,000 scored conversations, and no new entrant starts with that.

The four-step move was developed by Nicole Alos, ICF-PCC, CEC, founder of Socratyc.

What You Walk Away With

Walk Away With the Case for Funding

Your Idea in Investor Language

Your problem, solution, and experience translated from familiar corporate concepts into startup terms, using your facts and evidence.

Talk Tracks for Your Next Conversations

Ways to explain your idea to:

  • your network
  • accelerator applications
  • your first investor conversations

The Start of Your Pitch Deck

As PowerPoint or PDF, built from your words:

  • problem, solution, ideal customer profile, founder-market fit
  • questions to explore product-market fit
  • your market-size case with real-world sources for TAM, SAM, and SOM

Deliver It Under PressurePremium

Everything above is what you built. This is whether you can say it when it counts. Socratyc Sidekick puts you in a realistic AI video role-play with an investor who asks the prevention questions, then gives you a score and specific improvements so you show up ready.

A Femtech Founder's Deck, Built From Her Words

She described a tool that prepares a mother and her manager for the return from parental leave. FounderReady turned her description into a cover, a problem slide, and a sourced market-size slide, with her own wording kept beside each line.

Why I Built FounderReady

This is the tool I wish I'd had as a startup founder. I'm an executive coach, leadership advisor, and coach to venture-backed founders. Even with time in a VC accelerator and all of my expertise in other areas, I still struggled to translate my expertise and experience into the world of startups.

I knew getting my idea off the ground meant getting it funded. I also understood this was a whole different world, one my success elsewhere had not adequately prepared me for: acronyms, and how they connect with what I knew from the corporate world or my MBA; going from pitching and presenting someone else's product to sitting across from an investor; and explaining why I'm the best founder for this offering.

This is not just my opinion or founder coaching expertise alone. FounderReady draws on publicly available information from Y Combinator and Techstars, on individual investors I'm connected with, and on data and learning from my time in the gener8tor accelerator.
